The distance MENP is a rigorous, full-time program requiring your 100% commitment. It is strongly advised that you don’t work, even part-time, but exclusively focus on the program for its 20-month duration.
It is specifically tailored toward second-career professionals who want to enroll in a fast-paced, immersive program to change careers and become a master’s prepared RN.
You will use an online learning platform to complete your coursework and have direct access to your professors and fellow students. All coursework is 100% online except for clinical rotations in your local area and one residency on Elmhurst University’s campus in the state-of-the-art Simulation Center.
The distance MENP program is currently designed for individuals who reside in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. This program is designed for distance learners; Chicago-area students who live in Cook, DuPage, Will and Lake counties must be willing to do their clinical hours at sites outside of those counties.
